Another Story about the Difficulty of Getting Jobs, and Jobs with Benefits

Public News Service has decided to add to the increasing documentation of recent graduates having difficulty securing jobs in this economy.  This article, Bay State Grads Hard Pressed to Find Jobs and Benefits, came out on Monday.

Though the article focuses heavily on Massachusetts, it does contain this gem: "A recent survey of students published by The National Association of Colleges and Employers found that fewer than 20 percent of 2009 graduates who applied for a job actually have one."

Graduating Students Need Insurance, Too--Sacramento Bee

Figuring out what to do insurance-wise after graduating can be difficult, especially for those of us with less-than-perfect health.  A weakened economy can exacerbate this issue, as regions of the country may only offer jobs with limited benefits of lack jobs to offer recent grads altogether.
